Executive Search

Primarily used when recruiting for a senior role, a position that requires very niche skills / experience or when the hiring process must remain confidential, executive search – also known as retained search –involves targeting key individuals (who are often not looking for new opportunities) within specific organisations pre-agreed with the client and ascertaining their interest and suitability against certain criteria. Posterus will face-to-face interview all long-listed candidates utilising the most up-to-date competency-based interviewing processes and generate a short-list of qualified, interested individuals for the client to interview along with in-depth interview notes, objective observations and, where appropriate, subjective comments based on our knowledge of the client’s culture.

Advertised Selection

Advertised selection is a method of reaching a much wider audience exceptionally quickly and is often used in parallel to executive search. We have found it is best employed in situations when recruiting for a senior role that requires general knowledge of an industry or general skill-sets (eg. Heads of Marketing and CFOs) or when recruiting for a number of individuals with similar experience. Dependent on the role(s) we would suggest an appropriate media such as Sunday broadsheet newspapers or appropriate industry press.

We can manage the entire process for you including booking advertising space, undertaking the art work, handling the responses and first-stage interviews on your behalf, reflecting your values at all times or, in some cases, just certain aspects of the process.

Contingency

A very cost-effective option for when neither the nature of the vacancy or the timescales involved are particularly prohibitive, contingency recruitment involves database searches of the most appropriate candidates for your role. Our international candidate database is constantly being updated through a variety of means including internet advertising, exhibition attendance, referrals, recommendations and networking.
